Our fees are based on the income of your family.  This form is part of the registration packet and is also updated every August. Rates include a snack and lunch for full-day students. Your rate will be determined after all forms are submitted and you accept placement in our program.  If there is a special hardship for families a meeting with the principal will occur to determine a scholarship. Head Start qualified students the tuition fees are paid in full through the federal Head Start program.   Check the registration packet for Tuition Rates.

The maximum is 20 per classroom with a teacher and a para, so at the most there is 1 adult per 10 students. Bear Cub Preschool has two paraprofessionals in each classroom.

Are teachers certified?

Yes, our teachers have Nebraska teaching certificates like all teachers in the district as well as early childhood endorsements. The paras have also been through a process for para certification.

How do I register my child?

Bring a certified (raised seal) birth certificate for the preschool child and an immunization record. Come in to the preschool (stadium site) office and fill out the paperwork in the registration packet. We will make a copy of the birth certificate and accept your completed paperwork, including the free/reduced lunch forms (you must fill this out even though siblings are receiving these services).

When does the program start?

It follows the regular district calendar with just a few exceptions.

When are the fees due?

Tuition is due on the first of each month.
